Quartzite

This iridescent metamorphic rock is one of the hardest stones in the world (classification 7 in the Mohz scale that ranges from 1 to 10). Imagine a stone structure virtually maintenance free; a non-flaking, non skid material impervious to the fading effects of the sun. Not only is quartzite very impermeable but is extremely resistant to impact and abrasion. It is recommended by architects, decorators and landscapers in the finish of their projects because of its beauty, durability, versatility and practicality.
